Well, today has been a very hard day. Nate's mother passed away this afternoon due to the cancer in her body. Had we known how fast she was going to go we would have gone up with Nate Friday night. But we were told that she might have a couple of weeks still, so we decided that we would go up later to say our goodbye's. When Nate called this afternoon to see if we could come up tonight I hurried best I could packing up the kids things and Whitnee's machines. I managed to get the car loaded in an hour and a half and while we were waiting for my mother to come to help me with Whitnee, I got a call from Nate letting us know that she had passed.

We are soooo sad to lose such a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and friend. She brought so much love and joy into all of our lives, and will be greatly missed. It is hard to believe that it has been four year since she was diagnosed with her Thyroid Cancer. She had gone through a lot of pain over the years especially recently. It brings great peace to know that she is not in any more pain.

We love you so much Mom, Grandma you are always in our thought and prayers.

A Successful Day Away!!!!!!

Well, we finally did it. We got a way for a day and spent it with some friends of ours in Park City. We went not knowing how well Whitnee would do but she surprised us. She slept very well during nap time, so that excites us for an over night trip in the future. It also helped that no one was in the room so it was very quite.

As you can see we spent the whole time in the pool. I wish I had gotten more pictures. We bought Whitnee a life jacket and it was perfect for her. (dang did not get a picture) She just sat there and floated telling everyone to look as she sat and kicked her legs and arms. Getting her out of the pool was hard she screamed and screamed. Saying "water, water". When she woke up she said to daddy "water". The funny part was when we woke up the next morning at our house Whitnee said to Nate "water gone". And bath time just is not the same.

Kortnee and Nic as you can see loved every bit of it. Nic actually learned how to swim while we were there and was just as proud as could be. Thanks Boyd!!!

Thank you so much Hooper Family for inviting us up to spend the day with you. We loved it.

Nic's 8th Birthday!!!!

Nic was so excited for his 8th Birthday for a couple of reasons. He could hardly wait to be 8, baptised and starting Scouts. (not sure mom is ready for this). He had a great Birthday, He got a new Basketball and Basketball stand and new Soccer cleats along with his new Scout Uniform which he had to put on when Uncle Chris came over in his Air Force Uniform. They both looked great!

Nic starts Scouts tomorrow-mom still needs to sew on the patches:{ and we just found out it is the pine wood derby so we may be up all night making a car. Who knows. Nic will be baptised on May 3rd and is really excited!

Easter 2008

Well Easter was a lot of fun. We did 4 Egg Hunts, Nana came over and did one with the kids. And Nate's Family came down for our March and April Birthday party/Easter Egg Hunt. Kortnee and Nic each went on one together and Whitnee had ner own. (a lot easier to find). The kids had a lot of fun. Here Nic is picking out his prize out of the prize box, Kortnee is wearing her prize, ear and teeth. lol and Whitnee is digging through her basket at all the cool eggs.

We were really happy the weather was nice enough for us all to be out side!
