The Bean Museum

Last week I took the kids down to the Bean Museum at BYU. It was a great day to get out of the house and do something other then sit around. Whitnee did much better with the stuffed animals then the live ones.

I thought this was really neat, it is made up of many different kinds of butterflies to make one really big one.

As we turned the corner and saw this Ostrich, Whitnee said "chicken" it was funny.

WOW what a really BIG bear.

And I love this shot, Nic is telling Whitnee to smile at the camera, and the look she is giving him if priceless, you can tell she loves her big brother.

It was a lot of fun and I think we will go back soon.

Anna,
I don't know if you remember me from high school- but I loved reading about your little girl. I have a little boy who is disabled as well so I totally relate to the Kids on the move experience, trying to get away for a date night etc! I hope you are doing great!

Looks like you have been doing some very fun things this summer. I wanted to take my kids to Thanksgiving point when we were down there but didn't make it. It is a fun place and so close to you.
